Sr. Deputy J. R. Toner of the Harris County Sheriff's Department
"Eyes in the Sky: How Drones are Changing the Game in Criminal Pursuit"

Sr. Deputy J.R Toner has been with the Harris County Sheriff's Office for over 36 years. He is currently assigned to the Air Operations Section of the Special Enforcement Bureau as the department's sUAS Coordinator.
Deputy Toner is also an instructor for their Unmanned Aircraft System Part 107 Test Prep course and their sUAS Operator's Course. He is also an Agency Instructor for Texas A&M Engineering Extension Service teaching sUAS for Public Safety.
Deputy Toner holds a Remote Pilot Certificate with sUAS rating from the Federal Aviation Administration, Certified Technical Investigator from the National Technical Investigator's Association, Master Peace Officer certification from the Texas Commission on Law Enforcement (TCOLE), TCOLE Instructor license, TCOLE Firearms Instructor license, and TCOLE Special Investigator certification.
$30 meeting fee includes program, lunch*, tax & tip.
No RSVP required or taken (for regular meetings).
Pay at the door cash, check, or credit card.
Business/business casual attire please.
Free parking in the restaurant's parking lot.
Please arrive early/timely as seating on a first come and paid basis. We expect a sell-out!
*Lunch includes a salad, various breads, two options for your entree, ice tea, and delicious cookies (or similar desserts). We ask that you please limit your special requests.
